AT ROY HILL’S DRAG RACING SCHOOL THE TRAINING IS INTENSE AND SERIOUS, BUT ACCOMMODATES THE SPEED AND SKILL LEVEL OF EACH INDIVIDUAL STUDENT.

We cater to students’ learning curves, one run at a time. At this safety-conscious school, we teach students thoroughly about equipment prior to any track time. Students learn how to overcome intimidation produced by the speed and power of the cars, and your skills are built as confidence increases.


Roy Hill's Drag Racing School is unique in that we do not place a limit on the number of runs you are given to earn your license or achieve your objective when attending the school.


Graduates depart with their self-esteem at an all-time high. The lessons of control, and the confidence gained from driving under the watchful eye of Roy Hill, are acceptable in any of life’s subsequent ventures. Upon completion of the school, you will receive your ET slips and license form listing your successfully completed runs. This license form will be ready to send to NHRA if all requirements are met. As an additional bonus, you will receive a diploma and photos covering your participation in our school.

Choose to drive a Jerry Haas-built Super Gas car or an Undercover Motorsports Super Comp dragster. This school is excellent for a first time driver.


Super Comp, Super Gas & Bracket Car Licensing Course

Consistent ETs and quick reaction times are keys to tripping the win lights. Whether you’re a novice or a national champion, this course will teach you tricks and techniques for a better run down the track. You also acquire a thorough understanding of throttle stops, cross-over boxes, timed shifting, weather stations and an assortment of other tools that bridge the gap between being a runner and being a winner. Choose to drive a Jerry Haas-built Super Gas car or an Undercover Motorsports Super Comp dragster. This school is also excellent for a first time driver. You will start as a beginner and by the end of the second day will be on the road to being a professional bracket racer. Our main goal is to teach you the correct way to race before you’ve learned any bad habits. During this course we will equip you with all of the necessary information to achieve an NHRA or IHRA license.

TOP SPORTSMAN & TOP DRAGSTER

Our new Top Sportsman class puts you in a former Pro Stock car powered by a 600+ cubic-inch engine, paired with an automatic transmission. Experience quarter-mile runs in the seven-second range at over 180 MPH.
